21. Spend some time looking over the text and noting the differences (and similarities) between Jairus and the woman. What do we learn from their many differences?
2. Is there anyone in your life who seems to be "a lost cause"? What temptations do you experience as you relate to this person? What truths about Jesus can renew your faith that no one is outside the bounds of Jesus' transforming power?
3. How do difficult, trying circumstances serve to help us discern what we are truly believing in? In the midst of seemingly hopeless circumstances, how do you fight to cling to faith in Jesus?
4. Can you recall a time in your life where Jesus seemed to have committed "malpractice" in your life, only to later find out that His plan for you was actually much better than your plan for you?
5. In this life, we may or may not learn the explanation for our unwanted delay. What is our eternal hope, and how does that shape the way we walk through adversity in this life?
