Serving others through our

compassion-for-page

Thank you for participating in our community outreach by donating food to supplement what we receive from the Food Bank of SJ. Over recent years, our allotments have been reduced and we increasingly rely on donations to fill the boxes we deliver twice a month.

To help you help us, there are shopping list note pads as a reminder and reusable shopping bags available. Please borrow a bag then return it with the nonperishable items to the Fellowship area, downstairs in the Main Building . If you wish to donate again, take a new bag.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Chuck Jacques, Dave Hawthorne, JoAnne Condit, Teresa Hurst, or Vicki Sachetta. Their contact information can be found in the church directory.

The Compassion Ministry is an outreach ministry to needy families, serving 40+ families in Pitman and Glassboro. Please go to compassion food bank shopping list  if you would like to contribute.

Remember to pray God would open the hearts of those who receive the food to hear the Gospel and our deliverers would be bold to share when the opportunity arises.

“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” - Matthew 9:36-37
