Purpose Statement
Koinonia exists to equip the Church with Christlike servants, whose heads are informed and
whose hearts are inflamed with a passion for the greatness of Jesus Christ.
Koinonia seeks to take young adults and help them become healthy, functioning
members of the Body of Christ. During the ages of 18-25 many young people go through
the difficult transition from adolescents to adults. They are not kids anymore, but they
don’t feel like adults. Koinonia aims to help these young people grow in their
understanding of and love for Jesus Christ, and helps them to connect to the church so that
they can serve with their gifts. Through singing, the preaching of God’s Word, small group
discussions, and one-on-one meetings through the week, our desire is that young people
become Christlike servants who are a blessing to their local churches and communities.
Koinonia meets on Sunday nights from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at JCF's Firehouse.
